As with all of The Biomechanics Method Courses, The Fundamentals of Corrective Exercise has a very logical sequence of progression that remains consistent through the entire course. The program begins with self-myofascial release and progresses through stretching and strengthening exercises. Within those modules progressions and regressions for each activity are always emphasized. In addition, there is a nice section entitled Evaluating Exercise which uses the acronym SIMPLE to evaluate the suitability of any given exercise. I understand that most trainers want to cut directly to the corrective exercise library, but I strongly suggested that you go through the courses in their designed order. 1. The Fundamentals of Structural Assessment 2. Understanding Muscles and Movement 3. The Fundamentals of Corrective Exercise 4. The Complete Corrective Exercise Library 5. Corrective Exercise Program Design. During my initial client assessments I find that nearly every client is in need of some corrective exercise based on reported discomfort or limitations found during the structural assessment. I highly recommend this course. It will teach you to provide a unique service to your clients. (Verified review from ACE)

As a gym owner, it is important to stay on top of information as it becomes available, and refreshing knowledge obtained from prior trainings is just as important. I liked this course because it’s thorough and provides in-depth information with video instruction. I’d recommend adding this course whether you’re learning something new or as a refresher.
