About The Fundamentals of Movement Analysis
The Fundamentals of Movement Analysis provides fitness, exercise and health professionals with a step-by-step method for analyzing the most commonly impaired movements that can cause pain, functional limitations, and impede performance. Master The BioMechanics Method process for analyzing the entire kinetic chainโfrom the feet to the headโand learn to observe movement, identify impairments, detect compensations, and record and interpret findings for precise programming.

What else do I need to know?
The Fundamentals of Movement Analysis is Module 1 of The BioMechanics Method Advanced Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification course. It is available for purchase as a standalone course to enable students to learn about movement impairments and analyses while also providing an affordable option for those interested in progressing from the Corrective Exercise Specialist credential (TBMM-CES) to earning the Advanced Corrective Exercise Specialist credential (TBMM-AdCES).
The remainder of the TBMM-AdCES course components includes:
- Advanced Corrective Exercise Program Design
- Advanced Corrective Exercise Practical Application
The BioMechanics Method Advanced Corrective Exercise Specialist course is a step-by-step learning program. It is highly recommended that the course modules be completed in order to optimize the learning experience.
IMPORTANT: You must complete The BioMechanics Method Corrective Exercise Specialist course (TBMM-CES) AND all all three modular courses of The BioMechanics Method Advanced Corrective Exercise Specialist program (TBMM-AdCES) to receive your Advanced Corrective Exercise Specialist credential from The BioMechanics Method (TBMM-AdCES).

Angie Fonzarelli, CPT, TBMM-CES –
As someone already certified as a Corrective Exercise Specialist through The BioMechanics Method (TBMM-CES), I found this course to be a natural and logical sequence. It built on the TBMM foundation by providing deeper structure and clarity in assessing muscle imbalances, while equipping me with the ability to identify, understand, and address the root causes of movement dysfunction.
FRITZ MAY –
This course is a must for anyone serious about learning how to properly assess clients, breaking down complex concepts into digestible, practical components. The videos are just the right length and I am so pleased to see real people with relatable movement issues.
Dennis P. –
The course was well organized. It was written in a style that is easy to read, understand, and comprehend. The videos clearly demonstrate the proper way to perform all of the movement assessments.
Rikki –
This practical course offers an easy-to-understand process to conduct a movement analysis. Each section reviews commonly impaired intrinsic fundamental patterns, teaches proper process to test each body region, how to record that information on the form, and next steps for practitioners.
