The BioMechanics Method Advanced Corrective Exercise Specialist (TBMM-AdCES) course
The BioMechanics Method Advanced Corrective Exercise Specialist (TBMM-AdCES) certification builds on your TBMM-CES foundation giving you the skills to pinpoint common movement impairments and design advanced corrective exercise programs to resolve them. Unlock a new level of corrective exercise expertise with this one-of-a-kind professional certification. It includes all of the learning resources required to obtain the TBMM-AdCES credential.
The TBMM-AdCES course includes the following materials
- The BioMechanics Method Advanced Corrective Exercise Specialist (TBMM-AdCES) online course
What is in The BioMechanics Method Advanced Corrective Exercise Specialist (TBMM-AdCES) course?
To earn your TBMM-AdCES credential you will complete a comprehensive online course that consists of the following three modules:
- The Fundamentals of Movement Analysis
- Advanced Corrective Exercise Program Design
- Advanced Corrective Exercise Practical Application
The Fundamentals of Movement Analysis (Module 1)
This learning module teaches a step-by-step method for analyzing the most commonly impaired movements that can cause pain, functional limitations, and impede performance. You will master The BioMechanics Method process for analyzing the entire kinetic chainโfrom the feet to the headโand learn to observe movement, identify impairments, detect compensations, and record and interpret findings for precise programming.
Advanced Corrective Exercise Program Design (Module 2)
This learning module teaches a step-by-step process for targeting common movement impairments and advancing corrective exercise programs to facilitate the performance of desired movement goals. You will learn how to correct impaired areas and then challenge full-body coordination and control of all areas needed to perform a desired movement goal – skills that are essential for helping clients achieve movement goals, peak performance, and lasting, injury-free results.
Advanced Corrective Exercise Practical Application (Module 3)
This learning module provides professionals with the opportunity to demonstrate their proficiency in The BioMechanics Method approach to corrective exercise. This is accomplished by analyzing the individual components of a case study involving a real-life corrective exercise client, answering questions about information and skills learned in The BioMechanics Method curriculum, and applying corrective exercise knowledge to sample client scenarios and vignettes. As the culmination of the full curriculum, after completing this final course you will have fulfilled all requirements to officially earn your designation as a TBMM-AdCES.
