About Advanced Corrective Exercise Program Design
Advanced Corrective Exercise Program Design provides fitness, exercise and health professionals with a step-by-step process for targeting common movement impairments and advancing corrective exercise programs to facilitate the performance of desired movement goals. Knowing how to correct impaired areas, and then challenging full-body coordination and control of all areas needed to perform a desired movement goal, is essential for helping clients achieve movement goals, peak performance, and lasting, injury-free results.

- Video guides*
- Skills tests and self-check activities*
- Online tests with unlimited, free retakes if needed
What will I be able to do upon completion of this course? (learning objectives)
- Explain the steps involved in targeting movement impairments to facilitate the correct performance of a desired movement goal
- Identify the types of movement goal(s) a client wishes to achieve
- Differentiate the individual intrinsic movements required to execute a movement goal
- Determine which intrinsic movements in a movement goal a client may be prevented from performing correctly due to an impairment (and/or imbalance) and what to do to facilitate better movement in the impaired (or imbalanced) area
- Implement strategies for incorporating previously impaired areas into other areas of the body to work toward correct performance of a movement goal
- Develop and design exercises and programs that challenge and reinforce the performance of a movement goal in its entirety
- Evaluate advanced corrective exercise modifications, progressions and regressions to understand their application in targeting movement impairments and improving goal specific movements
- Design advanced corrective exercise programs that progress a client from correcting structural imbalances to achieving specific, complex movement goals under conditions of increased load and speed.
What else do I need to know?

This course is thoughtfully designed and clearly grounded in evidence-based practice, but what really stands out is how practical and usable the information is. The material connects biomechanics and corrective exercise in a way that actually makes sense in day-to-day work with real people, not just in theory. It genuinely helped me feel more confident and capable, and it directly supports better outcomes for the clients I serve.

This course is an excellent tool for corrective exercise specialists. It provides clear concise explanations and adds valuable skills for the corrective exercise specialist and personal trainers. I found the course content highly aligned with the real-world demands of corrective and special population training.
